The District is considering a fireworks display for Halloween, but wants the community’s input.
“We recognize that recent events in Tumbler Ridge have affected members of our community in different ways, and that loud or unexpected noises may be difficult or triggering for some individuals,” says a post on the District’s website.
“Before making a decision about the proposed display, we would like to better understand the community’s level of comfort with fireworks this Halloween.”
They invite current members of the community to participate in a three-question poll to determine if the fireworks should go ahead.
