District rescinds fire ban

Have you been missing having campfires in the backyard? Well, happy days are here again as the campfire ban has been lifted.

While other places in the Prince George fire district has been able to have fires the last few weeks, the district kept a ban in place as the Tentfire Creek fire burned within striking distance of town.

The Prince George fire district does have a fire ban in effect for category 2 and 3 fires, which includes the district of tumbler ridge, but the lifting of the ban brings the district into sync with the rest of the fire district.
