There were a number of heartfelt moments at the Tumbler Ridge Fall Fair, which happened Saturday, Sept 5. While there were plenty of vendors selling food and crafts and other items, the fair was also testing the waters to see if a music festival could once again take place in Tumbler after Grizfest was cancelled back in 2018.
Performers from around the Peace—Grande Prairie, Tumbler Ridge and Dawson Creek were joined on stage by former Fort St. John resident and CMA winner Kyle McKearny.
Between sets, a video played of Maya Gebala performing Living on a Prayer at last year’s Fall Fair.
And local Bobby Gale debuted a song that he wrote for the town after February 10, called TR Strong Song, which he sang to a backing track, and James Manion on guitar.
