Hockey teams from across the province and around the country are standing up for Ezekiel Schofield and especially Maya Gebala, both Tumbler Ridge players. Maya is slowly recovering in hospital, though is still in a coma and doctors are unsure how full a recovery she will make. Some of the teams (like the Fredericton Capitals, directly above, posing with rivals the Oromocto Eagles) have connections to Tumbler, as former player Luke Whalen now plays for that team. Some, don’t, other than to support a struggling hockey player. To the right are the new Maya stickers for the Sunshine Coast Tsunami.
