The Tumbler Ridge Ridge Riders snowmobile club has announced dates for two events happening this year.
First, the annual poker ride will be happening February 15, starting at 9am.
The ride will be held out at the Core Lodge area.
After getting melted out the last few years, the club will not be hosting its sled drag races, but will be hosting a vintage snowmobile ride on March 14, starting at 10am.
That event is also happening out at the Core Lodge, and will be an easy cruise out to the hot dog stand and back.
Ridge Rider president says you don’t have to have a classic sled to take part in the event. “Anyone can bring anything. Everyone is welcome, but vintage would be 20 year old sleds and older. There will be a few awards for sleds as well.”
