So, what are we? Chopped liver?

“Northeastern BC loses its last local newspapers” proclaims a recent headline at CBC.ca. That’s a bit of a surprise here at Tumbler Ridgelines, where we’re still churning away. In the northeast. Producing actual, honest to goodness hard copy newspapers.

While I won’t say we’re on our way to world domination, we still manage to eke out an eight page paper every couple of weeks.

That said, the margins on doing that are really thin, and we’d love for you to support us directly. Contribute any amount you want, but at $3.50 an issue, we’ll deliver the paper to you, and even more at higher dollar amounts.

Of course, we don’t want any barrier between you and the news, so it’s always available free online of at any of our drop off locations downtown, every second Thursday. Sometimes Friday if the shipping company forgets where Tumbler Ridge is and ships it to Lloydminster. Or Calgary. Or Fort St. John….
