Junior Idol returns!

After a two year hiatus due to … well, you know why, the annual Tumbler Ridge Junior Idol contest returned to the stage on April 10, with six contestants in two categories. This was the fifteenth Junior Idol contest.

Ages 8-10 Category from left: Jojo Hoffman, singing ‘Remember Me;, Hailey Wheaton singing ‘Hey Brother and winner Lydia Embree singing ‘Fly Away’. Bottom Row from left: Kate Torraville singing Beyond These Walls, Tatum Miller singing ‘Rewrite the Stars’ and Will Hofman covering the Seether cover of Wham’s ‘Careless Whispers.’ Tatum won this category. Also performing was Kyra Bertrand, who was not in any category, but was performing for her sixth (and final, as she is graduating this year) time.
