The Tumbler Ridge U11 Atoms team has brought home the banner after defeating the home town team in the playoffs in Chetwynd, which took place Feb 25-27.
The team was the favourite going in, entering the league finals in first place in the NERHL A division, having finished the regular season with ten wins, one loss, and one tie.
The tournament started out with Tumbler Ridge facing off against the home team on Friday night, who they defeated 11-9.
On Saturday, the Raptors had three games, taking on and defeating Clearwater (by a score of 15-10), Fort Nelson Murrin (13-8) and winning their final game of the day against the Fort Nelson Canruss team, with a score of 16-5.
On Sunday, the team once again faced Chetwynd, defeating the home-town team in a hard fought 8-6 victory.
