Need to get to Chetwynd between now and Christmas?
Give yourself a couple extra minutes. On August 8, work will begin on the Lower Bullmoose Bridge (where they were working last year), doing concrete repairs.
The bridge is located on Highway 29, approximately 8 km west of Tumbler Ridge, and spans (as you might expect) Bullmoose Creek.
The repairs will happen Monday to Saturday, 7am to 7pm, from August 8 2020-December 2, 2020.
The project consists of bridge rehabilitation work, including, but not limited to, removal of delaminated concrete from substructure and superstructure elements, repair and replacement of corroded rebar, installation of anodes and other corrosion retarding elements to existing rebar, installation of catch basins and downspouts to desk joint troughs, and patch repair of previously removed concrete.
The project is being managed by Luxton Construction.
