Jordan Wall—one of the longest standing members of the District’s Senior Staff—has decided it’s time to move on.
Mayor Kieth Bertrand made the announcement on March 11, saying that Wall was resigning from his position as Chief Administrative Officer.
Wall has been with the District for six years, first as Economic Development Officer, then as CAO, a position which he has held for four years, after taking over from previous CAO Barry Elliott, who held the position for four years before being fired by the district.
“He has been instrumental in develop the District’s first asset management policies, developing our growing tourism sector, and managing the community on a day-to-day basis,” says Mayor Bertrand.
“We wish him and his family all the best in the next phase of their lives.”
Wall will continue on as CAO for the next month before heading down to Comox to take on the CAO position there.
