Well, it’s been fun being able to get out and run those trails, but that may be coming to an end, as environment Canada is predicting up to 20 cm of snow today.

Snowfall warning in effect for:
- B.C. North Peace River
- B.C. South Peace River
A long period of snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm is expected.
An approaching winter storm will spread snow to Fort Nelson and the B.C. Peace today.
Snow at times heavy will begin this morning across the B.C. Peace region then spread north toward Fort Nelson this afternoon. Snowfall amounts near 10 cm are generally expected. However, the snow will be heavier near the Rockies, including Chetwynd and Hudson Hope, where 20 cm are forecast. Up to 15 cm will fall along the Alaska Highway over higher terrain south of Fort Nelson. Snow should end early Saturday morning for the Peace region and will continue through midday Saturday near Fort Nelson.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Take frequent breaks and avoid strain when clearing snow.
