Sure, you’re chomping at the bit to vote on Oct 21. Who isn’t?
But maybe you’re not going to be in town Oct 21. Maybe you have that long-planned romantic vacation to Houston planned and you just don’t want to cancel because you really really want to vote.
Never fear. Advance polls will be held October 11, 12, 13 and 14 in room 4 at the Tumbler Ridge Community Centre.
The polls will be open from 9 am to 9 pm.
If that doesn’t work for you, you can vote by special ballot at an Electons Canada office before Tuesday, October 15, 6 pm.
You can also vote by mail if you register by Tuesday, October 15, 6 pm.
If you are out of town, note you CANNOT vote at other than your assigned poll or an Elections Canada office.
And, of course, you can vote on October 21 from 9am to 9 pm.
If you haven’t received your voter card, you can contact Elections Canada at elections.ca to make sure you’re registered. Deadline for registering is October 15, 6 pm. You can also register at the polling station.
In order to vote, you must be a Canadian Citizen, 18 years or older on election day, and able to provide either one piece of government issued id or two pieces of id as found on this list.
